Do not let disparaging comments about the Ram, especially after the 2013 DEF equipped trucks were introduced influence your decision. Many potential Ram owners were swayed to other brands because the pre 2013 Ram's did not have a DEF and their fuel mileage was sub par...
This all changed when Ram added DEF and fuel mileage became competitive...their trucks were already top of the line in interior space and comfort...and as a bonus, the Cummins engine does not use the frail and delicate(that's what Porsche called the same model pump they use in their diesel Cayenne)Bosch CP4.xx HPFP...now beware...the Blue Koolaid guys will likely post Ram breakdowns with the tried and true Bosch CP3 pump...it happens...it is almost always warrantied without a fight and is not a $10,000 repair...
