Its not a rant. Another forum member here had the same HPFP problem as Ricatic.
Ford WAS going to deny warranty on his vehicle. However, they then discovered, through their own service records, that they had just recently changed both fuel filters on the vehicle.
So Ford did warranty that failure. But only because they were backed into their own corner by their own service records.
Oh, and have you had a HPFP failure with yours????? If its trouble free, as mine has so far been, then no experience to talk about.
And, the story I related was from a direct, private message, to the forum member involved.
In other words, right from the horses mouth.
