2011 Ford V8/5.0 TT Package 3.73 31ft Cougar lite 7800 max
I have never pulled with a half ton --Does anyone have experience towing with the V8/5.0?? Need opinions concerning the above combination. HELP!!!

I'm using an '08 F150 with the 5.4 V8, 3:73 axle and 7200# trailer package. I pull a 6,000# Jayco, 27' and the truck handles it just fine. I have a load distributing hitch. Could wish for better mileage, I guess, at 12 mpg+, but all things considered I think this is a pretty good rig.
