I have a 2012 Ram 2500 with the factory installed brake controller. Take my advice, get a Prodigy P2 or P3. Lots of posts here from people who don't like the Ram factory controller, which I also do not like. I took the Prodigy P2 out of my 2007 Ram 1500 before I traded it for my Ram 2500. I'm glad I did because I can see myself installing the Prodigy in the near future.
