I know this thread was about an early 4th gen, but idk if you pee blue, wear a bow tie or think reliability is defined by one word, Toyota, 2nd Gen Rams ARE still one of the best looking trucks on the road.
Dodge knocked a grand slam out of the park in 1994 with this body style.
So much so, that the next new body style HD truck literally copied the 2nd Gen ram look. (99 Superduty, also good looking rigs) and GM attempted the look in 01 with the hood bulge HD Chevies.
12V... Back in the day, the wife had 4 different 2nd Gen Rams. And nary a problem with any of them, save for an 01 1500 off road model that Dodge kicked out a bunch of bad 4.10 rear ring and pinion sets. That truck blew up 2 rear ends in under 5k miles and never a real issue after that.
