Maybe you didn't notice but posted this "I have the same truck..." earlier.
"Here is my take; been pulling my current trailer with my 2011 Crewmax (5.7 w/tow) for three seasons. It is a Komfort Pacific Ridge 25FL (~6400lb, 844lb tongue all dry). I figure 8500 / 1k loaded. This is a heavy tall trailer with slide and 4k cargo. With a Reese SC 12k/1200 bars hitch my setup has been rock solid. Truck will pull any hill along our rocky coast or any Cascade pass steep grade at the speed limit easily. Interstate speeds are no worries as long as you have the fuel to burn. Also remember your Tundra has been de-rated from the original specs. so you have some leeway there. It also has four wheel independent trailer sway correction. The Tundra is very capable."
