I thought we had researched very well, we even carried a tongue scale (Sherline) around when we were shopping trailers to make sure the tongue weight was okay. We were surprised how many used travel trailers had 1300+lbs tongue weight... we were sure we found the perfect match with our TT, but not so. The other thing I forgot to mention was with the Yukon hitch being in the bumper, it is much higher than previous models (7" higher than our 1998 Yukon with receiver hitch under bumper). We had to use a bigger drop hitch (which in reality further reduces the tongue weight limit) to tow the trailer level. We are much happier with our 2500HD CCSB.
