There’s been a few on here with the CP4 injection pump disaster; one of them only had 9k miles and he traded it in for a gas 6.2L while his truck was on the dealership hoist.
I was a die hard Ford man and my last Ford was a 6.0L diesel. I was getting tired of the problems and started looking for a new truck in 2014. About then a lot of the issues that T&P posted about were becoming known. I seriously considered a Ford 6.7L until I saw this and I became determined that I wasn’t going to pay my hard earned money to fix Ford’s shortcomings again. I bought the truck in my signature and have never looked back. I watched a few Powerstroke Help videos by Bill today on the 6.7L issues he has seen and after my head stopped spinning I was very tempted to go out to the garage and hug my Ram! :B
I think overall the 6.7L is much better than the 6.0L and 6.4L, but if you happen to have one of the potential issues with it you’re in for a whole lot of hurt on the pocketbook. JMHO
