I own a 2012 Ram CC 6.7 CTD 6spd Max Tow 4:10 dually. Had previous a 5.9 CTD 3:73 CC short bed. The new truck about 1 mpg less. The new truck more power, comfort and just fun to drive. I use truck as a daily driver. The 4:10 is awesome when the nose of th truck is pointing up and you are climbing. I didn't buy the truck for economy, I bought it to pull a heavy load. Either way these trucks use fuel. Enjoy
