Rear end ratio? If its a 3.42 then no. If its a 3.73 o 4.10 you will love it.
Really???????
My combined is 28K with 3:42 gears. It performs great! 9.5 hand calc average West Coast Towing.
Pulls 6% grades at 55 or more.
So whatever the gear ratio with the size of RV he is talking about will be no problem at all!
That terrable! My 4.10 rear ended dually gets 11.5-12.5 hand calculated all day - rhagfoExplorer III

With the 6 speed auto the 3.42's don't hurt a thing. - qbert10ExplorerI have a 2010, love it, but there is a big difference between the 5.9 and the 6.7 CTD. Milage being the biggest, but it still has power!!!
Good Luck!!! - machuntExplorerTruck is new, yes its a diesel, not a daily driver, 4.10 gears, we have a 12,000 lb 5ver but when wife retires we plan to purchase another 5ver.

Looking at a 3500 dually 2012 pros and cons. will be used for towing my 5th wheel 12,000 lbs
I have had my 2011 HO since 9-11 and it has performed flawlessly with 23K on the clock.
Weak brake controller so I installed a MaxBrake. The 12 has an awesome controller.
IMHO you are looking at the best truck on the market.
I love mine!

Lemme guess:
Diesel
6 speed
Quad cab
Coach:
12K dry weight
36-39 foot
Probably be ok loaded if my guesses are correct. - donn0128Explorer IIRear end ratio? If its a 3.42 then no. If its a 3.73 o 4.10 you will love it.
