2012 F250 6.7 opinions

Although I'm one of those with good experiences running the 6.0 PSD, I don't like the cost or complexity of the any of the current new diesel engines. I'm looking at new chassis cab truck models and will most likely go with a gasoline engine this time. What is putting me off is the initial cost plus the emission system cost for any repair or replacement which can be more than the engine. If it was strictly a complex configuration of inexpensive parts, I would not be hesitating to spend the initial cost to get another diesel.

People have pointed me toward used pre-emission diesel vehicles, but I haven't found the configuration I want for my next truck and do not have the time to make major modifications or updates to an older truck.
