2012 Tundra..any reason not to buy it

I had a 2012 Tundra with the 5.7v8. I had to bring truck into dealer for a Recall {service bulletin} to help prevent Air Pump Failure. These 5.7v8's where going into shut down mode and would end up with no power going down the road. Part of recall was reprograming computer chip so the air pump would shut down after engine shuts off. Once I had the recall done when I would shut the engine off I would get like a howling noise from air pump in engine compartment. Toyota mechanic told me the sound is normal after the recall. I even got to meet with a Toyota engineer and he told me hay my Tundra makes the same noise! I was very unhappy with Toyota's recall result. I do not own this truck anymore...
