This problems seems eerily similar to Ford's in retrospect to them not being able to fix the problem in the first place or at least come up with a proper fix.
To the people that have had the ECM reflash and AIP replair, did this solve the problem completely, or is it just a band aid fix?
Didn't Toyota extend the warranty on this part due to the many failures? I also read that they were paying some owners back who paid out of pocket to do the fix before the extended warranty came into effect.
Just FYI.
Other than the air pump issues, I think the Tundra is a solid, but a bit outdated. Same powertrain as 2007 intro. That's 7 years. There's been a lot of development and improvement in pickup trucks since 2007.
ON EDIT: See it's a moot point now anyway :)
