Nice choice of truck, hard to go wrong with a late model Ford.
As to the Tundra AIP issue, yeah, it's about a $4,000 repair as folks have posted on the internet. BUT, Toyota extended coverage to 150K miles, so that wouldn't bother me.
Having said that, I think you made the right choice and I probably would have done the same deal you did considering the better price and lower mileage on the Ford.
