Be aware some F150 max tow owners have reported being over their trucks 4050 rawr when using a high gvwr based payload sticker.
Yep, with MaxTow my 2011 F150 was under its 7500# GVWR but over the rear 4050# GAWR when towing. I should've got the HD Payload option with 7 lug wheels and higher rGAWR (4800#) and GVWR(8200#), as well as the Max Tow option.
With the Ecoboost, the HD payload F150s are rare but really nice trucks for towing. The pre-Al body ones came with OE LT-E tires, as well as a tougher suspension, all things I had to do after-market to get mine to tow well. However around here, most of them are plain vanilla XL models that are used hard in construction and snow plowing. It would be hard to find a used one in good shape.
