I understand the need to put the truck in a garage. You could probably find a NHT Silverado 1500 easier. These trucks can have nearly 2,000 lbs payload and they fit in a normal garage.
The Max Payload F150 from this generation is easy to identify as they will have 7 lug wheels instead of 6. The GM twins you need to look at the RPO code list for 'NHT'.

My 2500 has a rougher ride than my NHT/Max Tow 1500 did.
My Max Tow GMC had a payload of just over 2,000 pounds. Maybe OP can consider that as an option.
