If it's only about weight for you, go with the F-350.
As I said earlier, the 350 can be had with the wide track front axle as well if you order the HD towing pkg. Same turning radius as the 450. Same truck completely.
When I ordered new in 2013 the dealer said otherwise. Not saying who is right but that's what I was told.
Yeah, from 2011 to 2014 the 350 DRW and 450 were identical other than the gearing and the wide track front axle. Both of those differences come wit
h the HD towing package on the 350. (Formerly called the "Tow Boss" package in previous model years.) In 2015 the 450 went back to how it was from 2008 to 2010 being a completely different animal than the 350 DRW.
