I just bout a new leftover 2016 f150. I had the choice between 3,5 eb and the 5L. I opted for the coyote just because im afraid of the longevity of the EB. the milage numbers are close and although the EB has slightly better performance I love my coyote. it gets the job done well. ive also heard the EB is prone to carbon buildup but to each their own. I drove both loved both in the end I went with what I know and what im comfortable with (IMO still no replacement for displacement)
side note: id pay real close attention to payload ratings
