Be careful with the automatic thinking that the ECO has 11,000 tow rating.. That's only if it has the Max Tow or Max Payload option with the 3.73 gears.
If it's just a regular "tow package" F150, the tow rating is somewhere in the 9,000 range..
Okay, you take your chances with any make of truck and it's engines. By 2013 Ford had most of the initial bugs worked out of the Eco engine.. Sure, it'll still have the intake valve build up issue over time, but that wasn't enough to scare me away from one... :)
I've owned mine since new (56 miles on it) and it's got 45,600 on it now.
Now, I do have the Max Tow and 3.73 gears and I do have the #11,000 tow rating, but there is no way I'd tow that much travel trailer.. Flat bed trailer with a skid steer on it or something heavy like that, sure... There is no problem with power. It'll pull whatever you hitch up to it. How it tows is speculative at best depending on the drivers towing preferences..
Anyway, I tow a #5000 loaded TT with it and it's great.. I'd go up to a #7500 GVWR TT if I ever get another one, but that's far on the horizon.
Good luck!
