Dave would have talked to the shop, explained what repairs should be made and authorized payment for the parts or would have sent the parts to the shop and paid for the labor.
I have talked to several Host owners who had this done.
He did say it was at the selling dealer's location, being worked on. It sounds like it wasn't being fixed the way he wanted it repaired.I don't know how much he expected to get back selling or trading in his used camper, even if it didn't have whatever issues we're talking about here.
