Below is Host's final response to the underside of the driver "skirting." After talking with the people who made the wood with the paper on it that de-lamed, I think Host's solution is not that bad. Its not that Host just doesn't want to do the full sides with aluminum, they think it its really not the "best" fix. Since we are doing both sides with the smaller panels, it will look good and fix the current cosmetic problems.

There are concerns regarding this aluminum overlay that Pat wants;
1. To overlay the entire area would require all the under carriage bolts to be removed. This includes the slide out mounts. If these are removed and replaced it will be very, very difficult to get everything back into factory alignment specs.
2. If you remove these and try to re-attach them it will void any and all factory warranties regarding the slides. Our engineering department says that it will be very difficult if not impossible to get everything to align up again. If you’re off 1/8” at the mount it will result in ¾” to 1” at the top of the slide.
Host will send you two aluminum panels 23” X 24”, one for each side, to match. Anything other than these panels will be the responsibility of the customer and not Host.
Please let me know if you want us to send the two aluminum panels.
