RE: Designer Owners
SORRY I OFFENDED ANYONE. JUST RELAYING MY EXPERIENCE. WE CAMP ONE WEEKEND A MONTH AND THE TETON WAS VERY HEAVY AND OVERKILL FOR US. I THOUGHT A BRAND NEW JAYCO WOULD SUIT US BETTER. IT IS MUCH LIGHTER AND I LIKED THE IDEA OF BRAND NEW. I PAID $58,000 FOR THE JAYCO AND WOULD TAKE MY OLD UNIT BACK IN A MINUTE. JAYCO HAS DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR US. THERE ARE HOLES IN THE ROOF, THE FLOOR IS NOT SECURE, THE CARPET IS COMING APART, I HAVE TWO A/C AND THE STUFF IN THE SLIDE CUPBOARD COOKS, THE FURNITURE IS FALLING APART, OVERALL THE FIT AND FINISH IS TERRIBLE, NOTHINGS STRAIGHT OR LEVEL BIG GAPS AND MISMATCHES IN WOOD SEAMS. I CAN GO ON AND ON...WE HAVE A 70+ ITEM LIST. THIS FORUM IS TO RELATE EXPERIENCES AND OPINIONS. I AM RELATING MINE. MAYBE JAYCO DID BETTER WITH OLDER UNITS. I DO NOT KNOW. THE JAYCO I SAW AT THE RV SHOW WAS NOTHING LIKE THE ONE I RECEIVED! I WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE IF JAYCO WOULD HAVE TAKEN THE UNIT BACK TO THE FACTORY AND INSTALLED THE INSULATION AND INTERIOR PROPERLY. INSTEAD THEY WOULD NOT EVEN SEND A REP TO LOOK AT IT. THE DEALER GAVE ME THE REP NAME AND NUMBER!

My failure with the forum is to only posting the negatives. We have had several RV's that have been awesome and that I would highly recommend. We have had two that have been a disaster.
