I can understand the OPs frustration to a certain extent. I work in the ultra premium end of the automobile business, and in the upper stratosphere of any product class, expectations are higher, and when you are talking about 50> 60K campers, you are in the upper echelon. Were the problems in the pictures the fault of the manufacturer, the delivery company, the RV dealer? Probably a combination of all three. If you trade in a $50, 000 car after 7 months you would lose the same amount as the OP did on his camper. This thread should not be about blame on a specific party in this 4 way exchange, but perhaps a lesson for all RV owners. The manufacturers allow far to many short comings in the products they offer. We as prospective purchasers have learned to forgive these shortcomings as teething pains, far too many posts about "all RVs have problems that need fixing". why do we accept this fact.? When I see $3000++++ delivery fees I would expect the units to be shipped properly. Also why is the selling dealer not able to setup the camper level so the doors don't flex. The door in my camper is very picky about level and mine has no slides, I can only imagine how finicky a unit with 3 slides is about being level. And lastly the OP, who must also shoulder some of the culpability here. I understand his desire to go traveling the day after delivery, but there is no way he should have accepted delivery of the unit until he was completely satisfied with his purchase, it is a lot easier to get what you want when you still have your cash in your own pocket.
So lets stop bashing anyone and all take a deep breath and learn from what has transpired.
