From what I've seen on this thread the happiest party among the three participants (builder, seller, buyer) would be the selling dealer. He made who knows how much selling the TC to the buyer, then (from what I can understand) offers $13,000 less than the buyer says he paid for the unit. He then sells the buyer a class C that he will be making who knows how much on. He also gets to sell a perfectly good near new TC to someone else and on which he'll make who knows how much more.
Of course he's going to side with the original buyer of the TC on this issue. He's making some big bucks on this deal, which started with a few minor "issues" on an expensive TC.
First of all I would have been very happy if Host had made the manufacturer of the defective materials pay for the mistake and if only Host factory could fix it then Host should have taken it to their factory and fixed it.
Second my selling dealer tried to deal with Host. I have lots of emails proving it. He is as frustrated and over Host as I am. The dealer did buy my Host outright, I purchased new Warrior from private seller.
I did see a Chalet at my selling dealer today. Liked steps, and the fact that entire bottom is diamond plate and fiberglass. Looks like a much better build TC than Host. Though I like the way Host engineered the three slides to fit together better.
Sent Delam pictures to forum member who helped post my other pre delivery pictures. In the last month Delam has gotten worse and is now evident on three of the fours lower panels as I expected.
I never posted for a debate, suggestions or soliciting help. My ONLY reason for posting was to let other considering a Host of MY experience the same as I did with the POS Jayco I had a few years ago. I believe this is certainly a purpose of these forums.
