Interesting thing I didn't know about the GM trucks....
"The final tally for our Victory Red Silverado 1500 built in Silao, Mexico, was $44,715."
...our Fire Red Sierra 1500 made in Silao, Mexico, finished at $43,720.
Is GM making all of their 1500 series trucks in Mexico now?
The RAM is made in Michigan -- I thought they were made in Mexico too. :h
GM had four truck plants before the bankrupacy. They had scheduled to close two of them, but as sales have picked back up, they may still have three. Fort Wayne, Silao MX, Pontiac? and Arlington?
Ford has two that I know of, Dearborn, and Kansas City
Dodge has two as well, Warren, and Saltillo MX

Autocross (handling)
So both the Ford and the Nissian did the Autocross challenge quicker with 1000 pound of dead weight? Were they using some kind of single run testing or what? I like trucks that keep going faster the more weight you put in them. If we hook them to the space shuttle like Toyota did, they could go for land speed records.
Or maybe this group needs to learn when you try to produce scientific and statistial data, and there is obviously something wrong with a sample you throw it out, and remeasure. - ib516Explorer IIBraking
(What happened to the Toyota and it's huge brakes? Worst score loaded and empty) - gmcsmokeExplorerlooking at the mpg
