2013 RAM 2500 and TL Towing guide
I'm looking at the 2013 Trailer Life towing guide under RAM 2500. Turbo diesel 2500 LB Crew Cab 4x4, with 6sp auto and 3.42, it says 9,600 pounds??!!! All the weights seem low except for the gas...

And once again the low payload kills all hopes of ever getting anywhere close to that huge trailer rating!
Well, that depends. Regular RV 5th wheels, probably yes. Toyhaulers, not so much, as tend to have lower pin weights.
2500's pulling 5th wheel flat be trailers with concentrated loads, not so much, as the load can be moved forward or backward to affect the pin wt.
Does it limit wt in SOME configurations, yes. But not all.
