I'd be curious as to the differences between a 2500 & 3500 as it relates to a 2013 or 2014 Ram.
I believe the 2014 2500 now boasts the heavier-duty frame and strengthened suspension that the 3500 got a model year ago.
It's not the most popular opinion but IF the 2014 2500 series basically mirrors the 3500 series then I'd be comfortable loading a 2500 to 3500 specs. Many believe in GVWR as gospel, but I think of it as a good "guideline" to ideally stay within and use GAWR, tire ratings, and hitch ratings as the steadfast, do-not-eclipse specs.
Now would I go waaayyyyy over GVWR? No...
