I had the same quandry a few months ago....i looked at allof the big three, drove them and compared at lot of stuff. We were going to but a 15,000 pound camper and needed a dually diesel.
The ford had the biggest cab, but the ram just felt better, and semed to have a much smoother ride. I just did not like the GM trucks....seats were not comfortable to me and they seemed cheaper made. i only looked at 2wd, as that is all I need. 4wd might ride different.
I was all set to buy the cummins, and my wife found a smaller camper that was a hellofalot cheaper that she like better....so, I had to start the search again!! After looking at all three 3/4 ton gassers, I again picked the Ram for exactly the same reasons...ride is like a half ton....
