Agree, I know you were being sarcastic, but you did speak a bit of truth....
Certain experiences leave impressions on us at times in our life's and my first impression, as far as vehicle purchasing in my life was with a 62 Nova back in 66' and that MADE me a "Chevy" guy with some cars and all my trucks until 2010...
Experiences in life speak volumes as to how we purchase "things" later on in life, right or wrong...I may not purchase a certain something due to experiences I had with it years ago, though now, there might not be an issue....It's just human nature, it's what we do. Some will defend a brand of something because they've never had an issue or problem with it, where as someone else who owned that same "brand" will NEVER own/purchase it because of an issue or problem with one they owned "way back when". When I finally looked at a Dodge truck (called Dodge then), I was impressed and threw away my prior "ideas' on it and the rest is history
just part of life, but, bottom line, in the end, being human, most will just "agree to disagree with each other".....as Mowermech would put it, "such is life as we know it":)
Wow, I have strong memories of owning a Yugo. Since this was Fiat design, should I just avoid Fiat related products? Or maybe I should have swapped a Cummins in it?
