2013 ram

Hello,
I know this question is one only I can answer but want some input.
Thinking about trading my 2013 2500 hd 6.0 373 ext cab for a 2013 short cab long bed Cummings 3500 single wheel Asian with 410's.
I'm getting 14mpg and 9 pulling my camper.
What do y'all think?
Thanks
Jim
  • Well, I don't have a rig but I can offer up my truck's history for fuel economy unloaded for the most part. You can see my city/highway split on here using a formula to weigh what I was driving. Here's the Fuelly link to my vehicle, I'm pretty religous about tracking fuel economy: RAM truck fuel history. Also, here's a link to look at other RAM trucks and maybe their usage can give you some insight on what to expect: other RAM trucks.. Make sure you read their comments/notes on their rigs so you know how they're setup and if they did any towing or not.

Nice app being able to link others also :B I just use another type of fuel app for my personnel use. Proved my lie-o-meter was off but my numbers are a bit better than yours :W Not bragging just stating.
Maybe next year 2014 will be my next new Ram!

Ah Borg warner bloodline good to know.

    Though many Borg-Warner products were fantastic, I had a 1982 Jeep CJ7 with a BW T5 5-speed that was a TERRIBLE transmission, even running behind a 105hp/210ft-lb carbeurated straight-6.
