2014 Chevy 1500 WT opinions?

Very good drivetrain and easy to maintain truck for sure. Shouldn’t have really any issues with that truck.

I've always had extremely good results with GM products in general, particularly Chevy trucks. I don't know how it is in your area but around here in the mountains of VA where it snows you can hardly give away a 2wd truck. Therefore, resale on one is very very low. If that's not an issue for you then no problem.
The 4.3L V6 in the 2014 and newer is a different engine than the old 4.3L V6 that was introduced in the 80's. The old one was a great engine. I don't have any experience with the new one but 2014 was the first year it was used in the Silverado. The 6 speed transmission is great, there shouldn't be any problems with it.

Over the years I've had a Monte Carlo, two Blazers and a full size 4x2 truck with the 4.3, they were only the 4 speed automatic.
They were fantastic engines, I wish I still had the truck.
