When we were shopping for travel trailers, we also loved the quality of the Lance models. But we ended up with a Forest River product because the Lance products were too heavy for our preferred tow vehicle. We were interested in the Lance 1985 with a GVWR = 5700 lbs., but bought a Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S with a GVWR = 4800 lbs. Maybe not quite the quality, but it survived a 10,000 mile, 2.5 month trip to Alaska on the Alaska, Cassiar, and Top-of-the-World highways last year.
