You will find "Max Tow Package" equipped F150s all day long, but the "HD Payload package" F150s are rarer than hens teeth. I thing almost everyone on here that has one had to order it, and many salesmen don't even know it exists. Ford even has it burried in their price and build website. The HD Payload package is not even shown unless you select "3.73 limited slip" as the axle, then it shows up and is automatically checked in the next screen.
The most visable givaways are 7 lug wheels, only HD Payload have them, and a sticker with GVWR of 8200lbs Non HD will have a GVWR under 8000lb
From Ford's specs, a 4x2 Supercab Longbed will have a 2700lb payload - options.
Good luck in your search, but you likely will have to order what you want.
edit: guess they are becomming more common. Dealer 25 miles from me has 2 supercab long bed ecoboost HD payload package on their lot! Another has several supercrew ones. :@
