I'd say this thread is splitting hairs at this point. Find a camper with a gross weight of 2200 lbs or less (unloaded of 1700# or so), and that will work. It should stay under GVWR, and GAWR for both axles, as the supercab HD shows just shy of 2500# of axle capacity.
That's a "1-ton"+ truck. I guess the naming system from the model T days should be dropped!
ya, i'm seeing that. we are still kicking around the idea of bumping up to an f-250 instead, since they are pretty similar in price in the long run (assuming you don't go with the diesel) and it would give us more options. the f-250's seem to be priced somewhat competitively used, where the f150s are not that much off MSRP new (at least in my area, for the years we are looking at)
