Lol. If you understand payload ratings, then generically calling it a "1/2 ton", is probably not accurate. Ford has a similar model F150 HD, that is not a "1/2 ton", payload is upwards of 3000lbs in that case. GM could do the same thing. I sure hope they put more than a 12 bolt under there.....

So true, my 3500 6.0L combo was sure annoying with the excessive torque management. There was an article writen about it when the Tundra walloped the Silverado in acceleration testing. They explained it took the GM 4 full seconds before the TM allowed wide open thro
