8.1 was not an LS based motor and for what I do I don't need one.
That is why.
The 8.1 is a very good stump pulling motor, but really not necessary anymore. Why they don't put the 6.2 in the 3/4 ton is beyond me, but I think it has to do with cost of an Iron block VS an Aluminum block.
