This is true but it all depends on who is all going camping and what they are taking with them .. I think if he can keep the TT @ nomore then 6k fully loaded he will be fine on payload , since a properly specd 1500 will have 1900lb payload. So if you take the tongue weigh of the trailer , WDH , filled up propane tank(s) & himself im pretty sure he would have at least 1k left of whatever to do with .I know in my position i would camp with just me and my gf for 2 nights , and would head out dry and camp at a full service park . Just all depends on the situation , not everyone has a family of 6 and camps for 2 weeks straight.
