Not touching the brakes down a 7% grade is interesting for a gasser, what weight again? I know even with my Jacobs I need to stab them once in awhile.
Where is all the snow? Thought you guys got blasted this year? Early spring here but we still have snow.

Ha! Parking lot was plenty empty so I just backed on in there :)
Yeah we did get a lot of snow and Im sure they still have lots of it at altitude. Black Mountain city is at about 2400' or so, pretty high up, but we've had enough sun and heat to melt everything at this level.
I should have clarified the 7% grade part, that was uphill this time around. On the way down it the first time through I did have to hit the brakes, not much though, I geared down and stabbed the brakes a few times as needed...engine braking works great on these newer gaser transmissions. Not like the Cummins exhaust brake, but def helps keep the brakes cool in the mountains if you take advantage of it.
