- transamz9ExplorerThe dually is still going to have steel springs, it will just have optional "helper" bags basically just like what everyone is putting on the TV to help level their load. The 1500 and 2500 is going to have a full 5 link rear suspension with coil springs and have the option to replace the coil springs with air bags for a full air ride.
- 45RicochetExplorerI've also heard the 2014 DWR will have the TPMS. I guess the rumor I heard about air ride rear is true.

Announced today. 410hp @ 5600rpm and 429 lb-ft torque @ 4000rpm.
2014 6.4L
When I read the article, my first thought was to be disappointed that the output was only 410 horsepower since the 6.4 in the Challenger SRT8 puts out 470 horsepower. Then, I realized that 15 years ago 410 horsepower would have seemed unbelievably high. I'm glad to see it available - should compete well with the GM 6.2 and Ford 6.2. - transamz9ExplorerThey are also going to offer air ride suspension on the 2500's and helper air bags on the 3500's. They come standard with a 5 link coil spring rear suspension like the 1500's now.

I would like to see it, too. Right now, My 2.8 gets mid to upper 20's with my tune. I am at 188hp and 335ft*lb of torque.ChooChooMan74 wrote:
I love how the 3.0 V6 VM Motori diesel has the same amount of torque.
Pretty close. 240 hp and 420 torque. $2850 more that the 5.7L Hemi. It will be interesting to see what kind of mileage the diesel gets on the 1/2 Ton trucks. - mudfuel07ExplorerI wonder if you can get a manual trans with the 6.4? That would make it very interesting for me.

It does have the cylinder deactivation but who knows how often it will activate on a heavy truck. Probably similar mileage as Ford 6.2.
