2014 silverados hitting dealers

Currently, they are all Crew Cabs. The 2014 HDs are old style (and no extended cab). The 2015 HD will be the new style.

They drive very nice, very quiet.

Payload sucks? Should be up 250 pounds over a comparably equipped 2013. 2014 went on a diet. GM/Ford half tons already had the best payloads for crew cab trucks.

The 2014 5.3L puts out nearly identical power to my 6.0L, very comparable to Ford's 5.0L with better fuel economy and in a pushrod design!

Too bad the payload rating sucks.. sigh..

I'll have to keep a look out for them. I see a lot of truck traffic in my travels for work. I'll pay special attention to the auto transports.

The 5.3 is putting out some real competitive numbers in the half ton market. I think like 387 torque if I'm not mistaken. Can't wait to see one myself.
