When you say; "4 Feet" are your including the outside skin of the finished camper? Basically, nominal width is what I am asking. Some distances between wheel wells do not allow that extra width.

They are grey epoxy coated steel deck screws. NOT stainless.
All the measurements are custom to the 2012 Silverado, with the liner in. I am building with the liner dimensions and planning on leaving it in the truck. If I measure too tight and I need to take the liner out, I have that option. It is 4'1" between wheel wells, w/liner in. The floor is basically 4', but has extended wings in front and back of the wheel wells. I slid just the base into the bed. Fits real nice, shouldn't be a problem. If I were building for any full size truck, I would make the outside walls maximum 48"w/skin.
