Is that foam covered with one or two layers of Fiberglas?
Any idea how much weight will this support if you needed to walk on it,to place solar panels and such..
I was thinking about doing complete camper using this type of glass over foam if it was strong enough as it would be also incredibly light compared to anything else..
Double clothed on both sides with the joints triple clothed and then several layers of resin and 4 coats of paint.
Not walkable but I would never need to. Can reach all parts with a ladder because of the curve. You could make it walkable but would need much more weight (resin, structural pieces, etc.).
I was willing to do the roof that way. Not sure I would do the whole thing just resin on foam, but it is possible I think.
