So the RAM managed to get 2nd place, yet it lost nearly every performance test, had average fuel economy and the most brake touches on descents? Too bad the truck was intolerably loud. But the interior is nice. Sounds like something Ford would win for.
And the flat land brake test... tire compound will cause more variation than they measured. Aside from that, the empty and unplugged are the only reasonable tests. The magic "5" setting was useless since they didn't normalize current. A real test would be a brake fade sequence.
First place went to the right truck. I think the overall gear ratios helped the GMC in a few tests but still impressive. And it doesn't have the SD shimmy that I have to live with now:S If they just had some decent full-power mirrors and styling...
