Got to be a regional thing;comparing apples to apples, in and around this area, Chevy & Ram trucks are usually cheaper with Ford being the most expensive...Just going by what I see in local advertising and traveling the car lot's looking at the trucks and looking on line. Back to 2000, I priced Chevy and Ford., (never even considered a Dodge truck until 2010), but Ford was alway's harder to deal with and more expensive than the Chevy...thus, stayed with Chevy, but in 03, 05, 07, 2010, 12' and 13' gave all three a look at and test drives and again, the Chevy and the Ram were cheaper than the Ford, comparing like trims to like trims, ie Chevy in LTZ, Ford in King Ranch (what I was interested in) and in 2010 Ram Laramie and the Longhorn....Guess things have changed, but prices advertised on the internet or looking at MSRP, are far from the "bottom line", and up till May of 2013', the Ford was the most expensive and the least discounted of the three Again, been "MY" experience within 100 miles of Asheville NC (this hit's TN, SC, NC)....Ford didn't want my money or I could very well be advocating a Ford, but for now, I go with Ram first, Chevy second.
