Help us decide. We love both layouts! Ron Nash owns both, so we are hoping both will be quality. We just sold our 2007 Terry Resort 240RKS.
They both have the open bath/bedroom and outside bedroom door which makes that area much more open and spacious. But the 25Y has the 80" bed. (We have to pull out our 240RKS 74" bed every night and stuff the gap with pillows).
Does the 25Y have vaulted interior ceilings? The 240RKS does and that too makes the interior more spacious.
The Artic Fox 25Y is 2' longer and 1/2' wider than the Timber Ridge 240RKS so definitely has more interior floorspace.
But it's also 1000# heavier (dry) and probably quite a bit more expensive.
Tough call. When we were looking last year, we didn't consider the 25Y because it was too long and wide and heavy for us. But if that had'nt been an issue, it would have been a top choice. The more space you can handle, the better.
EDIT: the 240RKS has a very high tongue weight, ours is 1130#. Don't know about the 25Y. And the loaded 240RKS (7500-8000#) definitely maxes out our EcoB F150. Depending upon tongue weight, the loaded 25Y would probably be too much. I suspect you will need a heavier duty truck than the Tundra to tow the 25Y.
