The diesels have the 6 speed transmission, the transmission referenced above is the 8 speed, it only comes behind the gas engine. When the 8 speed first came out there were some teething pains but they were worked out by the 2019 model year.
Payloads for most Colorados hover around 1500 lbs, the ZR2s are around a 1000 because of the DSSV shocks and suspension changes.
