We'll just see if Ford's gamble to drop the Ranger is a good decision. They think the mass public will go ahead and buy the smaller trucks as they don't get appreciably less fuel mileage than their new generation full size 1/2 ton pickups.
I would think the Colorado would be an attractive substitution for a 1/2 ton truck for most owners.
These are not like the Global Midsizers, just like a Basic F150 is not similar to a F150HD, which is more like a basic F250.
I I do see GM reviving the U.S. midsize market with these above
