Aside from giving all the diesel folks a chance to expound to such a post, since I run a gasser I will chime in with my two cents.
Apples and oranges - maybe not. I tow 9.5 K fifth wheel with a F250 6.2. I switched from an ole 99 psd to the gasser and am pleased.
Back to the OP. To me is not how "long" your tow is it is what are the weights and the ratings of the truck. And what are you personal needs.
