I don't know about new 2015ish pickups but in the past the 2500 and 3500 were almost the same short of a different door sticker.
My 2003 F-250 SD is vertually identical to the same year 350. I think the only difference if rear spring block which on 250 is 2" tall and the 350 i think is like 3 or 4" tall.. everything else is same.
same everything else.
the 2500 will cost less than a 3500 which make the 2500 a better deal especially in diesel.
If you buy new from dealer and do that in sept, oct, nov time frame on last day of month you can get a diesel for just about same price as gasser. just go in with total out the door offer adn be prepared to walk out.
bet they follow you out the door and beg to take the deal.. I came home and called them back and offered $1,000 less than my first offer, which was quite a bit lower than the MSRP plus the rebates etc. and they took it..:)
Thanks that is very helpful. I'm actually going back-and-forth now on a 2015 diesel 2500 Chevy LTZ With 75,000 miles on it and we are currently around 44,000 They had it listed for 48. Unless I can get a new one with all the bells and whistles in the 40s, I'm going to have to stick with used.
