likewise! I have a 2015 F250 6.2 CCSB 4x4 with 3.73's pulling ~8000lbs loaded in the north eastern hills, no regrets! and getting 9-10 mpg

I originally wanted 4.30 gears, but couldn't find any on the lots with them, I would have had to special order the truck and wait 8 weeks. I got the best deal on a truck already on the lot so I went for it. (~8k off MSRP) Everyone said don't worry about the 3.73's for my weight and they were right. pulls nicely even in the hills and when I'm not towing it cruises nicely on the highway.

If I was closer to the upper range of the weight ratings I think the 4.30's would be a must, but for my needs the 3.73's are just fine and I would do it again!

I have a 7600 lb dry weight TT about 9400 completely loaded and ready. I tow it with my 6.4 Hemi and 3:73 gears no problem at all. I can't imagine you having a problem unless it is all out west mountain driving.

Just keep an eye on your TW as your limited to ~1250 lbs with the class IV. Or add a class V. I'm always a bit leery at that, but others seem OK with it.

I'm not seeing issue. I just towed a 10k trailer with my 2000 C2500, it's rated at 8500......pulled slowest hills at 50 in 2nd gear, about, 4k rpm. Today's motors have better trans gears, more hp.......

You're going to have a real easy time if it has the 4.30 axle. If it doesn't, put the 4.30 in!

Can't speak on the Ford but I personally doubt you'll notice any difference. You may need to tighten up your hitch to compensate for the higher tongue weight.
I pulled mine with an older 2500HD with the 6 liter gas, no real comparison to your 6.2 but mine did OK.

I have a 2012 F 250, 6.2L with 3:73 gears, 145,000 miles .. and I pull a travel trailer that is 30 feet and 8,300 dry.. so about 9,500 loaded.. and I also carry 1,500 in the bed of the truck... motorcycle, tools, ramp, generator..

for a total weight of 17,000 pounds (Scaled). not one issue on a 2,000 mile trip.

We just purchased our first bumper pull travel trailer and are pulling it with a 2015 Ford F250, 6.2 gas engine. No problems at all so far. Plenty of power and the truck is very stable when towing the trailer. I have a WD hitch setup. We have a 26' Palomino Puma, 26RLSS. Loaded weight is around 8900 lbs. My F250 has 3.73 rear end as I recall.
Gas mileage is holding around 8.0 while pulling the trailer at 65MPH in hilly terrain in eastern Kansas and over small mountains in Oklahoma.

I don't tow with a ford, but have a gas gmc. I see no issues with what your going to tow. Keep the RPMs up in the hills and enjoy the ride. The 6.2 appears to be a good engine, I have heard no negatives with it. Towing with a gas engine is not difficult, you will drop a gear or 2 on the hills pretty quick at times and run Higher RPMs. No issues with this, let it do what it designed to do. This coming from a guy who has pulled with both gas and diesel and stuck with gas.
